With the NHL’s free agency period set to begin on July 13 at noon ET, the Philadelphia Flyers need to fill holes at both the forward and backup goaltending positions. "We could use everything: A center, a wing, and a defenseman," said general manager Chuck Fletcher. The organization is prepared to make changes before heading into the next season after failing to reach the playoffs in each of the last two seasons. There is a little more than $5 million in cap space available for the 2022-23 season, so making a major splash is going to be difficult, but it is not out of the realm of possibility. We have seen a lot of people out there are searching for websites to Watch World Juniors Live so we thought to post about it on this blog.

Hello! I had asked in today's (9/7) Flyby, but that was a little rough due to my vague language in the over/unders. I decided to make a Google Form for you guys to fill out. The link is below. I also added another over/under for y'all as well.

"Caught at a crossroads between a full-blown rebuild and a legitimate playoff push, the Philadelphia Flyers fired general manager Ron Hextall on Monday, the latest front-office leader to fail to win the franchise's first Stanley Cup in 44 years."
"The left-handed eighth grader is currently receiving treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at Rutgers Cancer Institute. Upon diagnosis, Rogers had to forgo team play, but he was recently cleared to skate again without contact. His turn pro will culminate at Flyers Hockey Fights Cancer Night on November 27 at the Wells Fargo Center, when the team will host him again in the locker room for a special pre-game read off of the evening's starting line-ups."

Greetings from the top of Conic Hill in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Scotland. Probably the first of many hill walks now that I am living in Glasgow permanently, and want to bag as many munros as I can. Will try and get as many of them in Flyers gear too for funsies. Views: Loch Lomond, with the small islands of Inchlonaig and Inchfad in the background, plus several snow covered (yes, still! this is Scotland after all) peaks leading round to Inverbeg and Ben Arthur (which is my next climb in a few weeks)
